The Chicago Sun-Times and WBEZ voter guide was a company-wide initiative that touched nearly every department of the newsroom. As Director of Digital Operations and head of our visuals team, my lead photographer and I produced on-camera interviews and portraits of all nine mayoral candidates in just 10 days...all on-location.

It was a challenging lift with such a short turn-around, but the portraits by Ashlee Rezin were used in all aspects of print and digital coverage, the videos added life to our questionnaire, and the clips derived from them increased our social engagement throughout the election season.
